PURPOSE:To utilize a combination of a circular arc-shaped steel tubular pile and a foundation body as a resistance against upward loading by a method in which circular arc-shaped steel tubular piles are thrust through pile holes, penetrated into the ground by mutually separating them downwards, and connected with each other. CONSTITUTION:Pressure water is supplied, and while jetting jet water for excavation, circular arc-shaped steel tubular piles 4 having guide pipes are penetrated into the ground 1 in such a way as to separate them from each other donwards from the vertical center line 37 passing the center of the foundation body 2. After the piles 4 are penetrated to a given depth, a grout 39 is set under pressure and packed into the pace between the pit wall and the piles 4 with guide pipes. Even when comparatively short circular arc-shaped steel tubular piles are used, sufficient resistance to great upward loading can be obtained.
