PURPOSE:To improve the working accuracy of the machine without any variation in tension of a wire electrode by holding vertically a bobbin and providing a damping member and a movable pulley supported by a spring on a wire electrode feed path. CONSTITUTION:A wire supply unit 60 holds vertically a wire supply bobbin 10a to generates tension of a wire electrode 1 by a brake 12a for pretension. And a movable pulley section 70 is provided between said unit 60 and an idler 40a on a wire supply path. An arm 72 of this section 70 is supported on the main body by a shaft 74 and the wire electrode 1 having tension is hooked on a pulley 76 on the end of the arm 72. Further, one ends of a damping member 80 and a spring 82 are mounted on pins 84, 86 of the arm 72 and the other ends are secured fixedly to the main body. By this constitution is improved the working accuracy without any variation in tension of the wire electrode 1.
