<p>A manufacturing installation comprises several machining stations (I, II, ...) arranged along a conveying path. The workpieces (1) are carried by workpiece-carriers (2) shaped to receive the workpieces in their correct position, transported by a transport system (3) which carries out horizontal and vertical movements to a predetermined extent and brought to a machining position determined by positioning means (5). In order to make possible the automatic loading of the transport system (3) with workpiece-carriers (2), this system is arranged between the two tracks (16, 18; 17, 19) of a double track conveying arrangement (10 to 19).</p> |
