Elastically deformable accident-protection strip on the lower edge of a driven door leaf with at least one cavity which extends in the longitudinal direction of the strip and is connected to a pressure/signal transducer. For emitting a reliable signal in the initial phase of the compression of the strip and of the compensation of a follow-on movement of the door leaf over a relatively large remaining compression path, the accident-protection strip is configured such that the cavity is connected to a chamber in which a switching body is mounted such that it can be shifted. In each position of the door leaf, said switching body is forced into a specific operational shift position, directed towards the connection opening in the chamber, such that the switching body is moved on from its operational shift position by the medium, displaced when the strip is deformed and entering into the chamber through the opening, and, when the transferring medium subsides and it is actuated, moves back into said shift position, which shift movement of the switching body forms the criterion for the signal. |
