PURPOSE:To obtain a heat storage building material having improved heat storage effect, readily processing properties such as cutting, nailing, etc., readily and efficiently, by subjecting aggregate to water-repellent treatment, impregnating the aggregate with melt of a latent heat storage material such as paraffin type, etc., solidifying it and dispersing the aggregate into a base material. CONSTITUTION:Aggregate (preferably wood, perlite, vermiculite) is subjected to water-repelling treatment, impregnated with melt melt of at least one latent heat storage material selected from the group consisting of paraffin type or fat and oil type, solidified and blended and dispersed into a base material (preferably gypsum or cement) to give the aimed building material. |
