PURPOSE:To prevent cleaning defects by providing a developing device and a cleaning device independently of each other and a developer storage chamber and a recovered developer storage chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning blade 2-9 is provided independently of a developing roll 2-4 as the developing device while adopting the copying process of the system of two cycles for one copy. Since they take charge of both of the developing function and the cleaning function individually, each function is fulfilled on optimum conditions. Therefore, cleaning defects are resolved. A developer storage chamber 2-7 where the developer supplied to the developing roll 2-4 is stored and a developer recovery chamber 2-10 where the developer recovered with the cleaning blade 2-9 is stored are provided independently of each other, and both chambers are connected by a developer carrying path 2-11 and a magnet 2-14 as developer carrying means. Thus, the recovered developer is used for the developing work again and is economized. |
