The machine consists of a variable number of symmetrical modular heater-beater elements, each consisting of a vat with heating incorporated, provided with rotary blades which stir the mass around, pushing it against a transverse partition inside the vat until it flows over the top and falls through a discharge hole in the bottom of each vat into the module below. In descending from module to module, the mass describes a zig-zag movement.
