PURPOSE:To reduce high frequency noise of higher order while improve the seizing resistant performance f a bearing by installing a fluoroplastic ring on the outer periphery of the part which is fitted in and supported by a bearing hole, of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:Fluoroplastic rings 17, 18 are fitted over the outer periphery of the rotary shaft 9 of a vane type compressor, on the sites where the shaft 9 is fitted in and supported by bearing holes 14, 15 formed on a front side block 6 and a rear side block 7 respectively. Each of the rings 17, 18 is formed into a tapered shape with its inside diameter being reduced form a rotor 10 side toward the opposite rotor side, in order to hold the rotary shaft 9. by this structure, since the rings 17, 18 slide on bearing holes 14, 5 to support a part of bearing load, the formation of bearing oil film is accelerated improving seizing resistant performance, while eliminating the need for using a needle for a bearing, thereby, reducing the generation of high frequency noise of higher order.
