PURPOSE:To secure a good engine starting property, and to improve the fuel consumption and the emission properties, by furnishing a control unit to receive the output of an intake air negative pressure sensor and to arrange a correcting device to correct the engine starting fuel amount. CONSTITUTION:At branches 2a of an intake passage 2, fuel injection valves 5 are arranged. An intake air negative pressure sensor 10 detects the intake air negative pressure at the lower stream of a throttle valve 4 in the intake passage 4. A starter switch 13 detects the cranking time of the engine 1 by a starter ON signal. A control unit 14 inputs the outputs of the sensors 8-12 and the signal of the starter switch 13, to operate and control the fuel injection valves 5. The control unit 14 corrects the engine starting fuel amount, the higher the intake negative pressure, the smaller the fuel starting amount, in a cranking. In such a way, the fuel expense and the emission properties can be improved while a good engine starting property is secured.
