<p>Prepn. radiation sensitive high aspect ratio tabular grain emulsion, in which grains with thickness = less than 0.35 micron and aspect ratio = greater than 8:1 account for more than 50% of total grain projected area, by introducing silver ion into a dispersing medium contg. (a) chloride ion at conc. = at least 0.5M and (b) a gelatino-peptizer contg. less than 30, pref. less than 12, micromoles methionine/g.</p> |
