<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a braking force required extending over a wide speed range by removing a main resistor during the control of a regenerative brake. CONSTITUTION:A main resistor 3 inserted to a main-motor armature circuit is used at starting of a regenerative brake, and the main resistor 3 is inserted only in a short time when the main motor circuit is connected to trolley voltage. A resistance short-circuiting switch 13 is brought to a close state at a point of time when armature currents and field currents are stabilized, and the main resistor 3 is short-circuited. Thereafter, the constant torque control is conducted n response to a braking force command value, and the speed of a motor is decreased. Accordingly, the braking force required is acquired extending over a wide motor speed-range up to low speed from high speed.</p> |
