PURPOSE:To enable a motor to be reversibly operated only with the change-over of the polarity of a power source, by arranging two field windings with rectifiers connected to in series, or by connecting a rectifier bridge to the field windings. CONSTITUTION:Shunt field windings 26, 28 with rectifiers 22, 24 connected in series are respectively arranged in antiparallel with an armature 20 and connected to each other in parallel. Otherwise, a field winding 38 provided with a rectifier bridge organized by rectifiers 30, 32, 34, 36 is connected to the armature 20 in parallel. By this organization, a motor can be reversibly operated only with the change-over of the polarity of a feeding power source.
