<p>In two opposite slats of the rectangular beehive frame are sawed 2.5 millimetre wide upright channels with a depth equal to half of the slat width. The wire for fixing the industrially prefabricated centre wall of beeswax is inserted into these channels from above. When the wire is tensioned, it is firmly fixed in the frame. Insertion of the wire into channels is markedly quicker than threading the wire through the holes in conventional frames. <IMAGE></p> |
