PURPOSE:To enable the detection of an accurate wt., by fixing a load point comprising a cannonball-shaped collumnar body, of which the upper part has a convex surface and the lower part has a flat surface, to the upper surface of the central part of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A wt. transmitting rod 17 with a diameter of about phi 12mm of which the upper end has a flat surface is supported almost vertically through a support part 18 comprising Teflon low in sliding resistance and a wt. detector is arranged to the wt. transmitting rod 17 so that the load point 16 thereof is contacted with the lower end of said rod 17 above the surface of water. Next, a load 20 is placed on the scale 19 fixed to the wt. transmitting rod 17 and the wt. of said load 20 can be detected on the basis of the change in the electrostatic capacity between the electrodes 12, 14 of the wt. detector. As mentioned above, because the cannonball-shaped load point 16 is fixed to the central part of a diaphragm, an accurate wt. can be detected even if positional shift is generated between the center of the wt. transmitting rod 17 and that of the wt. detector.
