PURPOSE:To provide a tank with water resistance and reduce the cost of material to permit to provide the tank with general-purpose properties by a method wherein the tank is formed by a resin material, in which nylon polypropylene alloy is mixed with the specified weight ratio of glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:The alloy of nylon and plypropylene is formed by blending 30-70% of nylon and 70-30% of polypropylene. Nylon 6 or nylon 66 is employed as the nylon. Especially, the melting point of the nylon 6 is closed to the melting point 163 deg.C of polypropylene compared with the nylon 66, therefore, the nylon 6 is preferable since the compatibility thereof is better. the blending amount of glass fibers, filled into the nylon polypropylene alloy, is 20-45 weight % with respect to the 80-55 weight % of nylon polypropylene alloy. According to this method, a stress crack due to CaCl2 will never be generated, therefore, the forming of the tank may be facilitated and the appearance of the same may be improved. Further, the tank becomes abundant in general-purpose properties since inexpensive polypropylene is used as the Constituting material thereof. |
