PURPOSE:To enable various kinds of glass material to be used as a transparent disk plate and to produce thermal and mechanical stability of the disk plate so as to achieve its airtightness by packing the soft metal indium into a thin hole of the transparent disk plate. CONSTITUTION:A transparent disk plate 7 made of glass has a thin hole 8 extending from the surface 7a to the other surface 7b. The inner surface of the thin hole 8 is provided with a conductive film 9 extending from the surface 7a. After this process, a part of a small indium sphere 10 is pressed into the thin hole 8 from the other surface 7b of the transparent disk plate 7 to make the sphere 10 in contact with the conductive film 9. Then, the indium 10b remaining above the other surface 7b is shaped into a semispherical shape to make a target terminal led outside the tube. Therefore, there is no possibility for the transparent conductive film 11 and photoconductive film 12 formed over the inner surface of the tube to be stained or damaged. Since indium is packed into the thin hole 8 of the transparent disk plate 7, various kinds of glass material can be used as e disk plate 7.
