<p>The spoke replacement for a sports cycle consists of two spoke parts with hooked eyes at the wheel hub end and a threaded part at the rim end. The wheel includes a rim (2), hub (3) spindle (3') and spokes (4). The hub carries a gear chain drive (6). The replacement spoke has two parts for connecting at one end to the hub disc (7). An eye part hinges at bend (9). The replacement spoke is secured in the normal way with a spoke nipple spanner. Alternately, the spoke replacement unit may consist of three hooked parts to provide a shorter unit for compact storage.</p> |
