PURPOSE:To attain a fast positioning job with high accuracy to several types of subjects respectively by using a stopper cam to stop successively the closing action of a pair of aligning plates which are performed by a drive mechanism with different strokes set previously. CONSTITUTION:The positions where drive rolls 26 and 36 of the aligning holding arms 19b and 29b among those holding arms 19a, 19b, 29a and 29b are extended linearly. Then the stopper rolls 55 and 56 are set at the tip parts of both extended parts 53 and 54 respectively. The stopper cams 58 and 59 interlock the open/close cams 41 and 42. Thus both paired aligning plates 15a/15b and 16a/16b close with different strokes each time. Then the objects 11 to be positioned are supplied with different sizes for processing of such objects 11 of different types. In such a way, the subjects to be positioned can be positioned at a high speed and with high accuracy. |
