CURRENT CONTROL FOR CURRENT TYPE THYRISTER INVERTER

PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed response in the whole range of a DC current by automatically changing over the control gain of a current controller by the actual value of DC current in such a pattern as proportionate to the variable inductance type DC reactor inductance. CONSTITUTION:After the difference with a feedback current is obtained, the current demand is outputted one after another to the current controller ACR and the voltage gain KE. Then the difference with the changed parts of the inverse voltage of an inverter is obtained and is outputted. A function generator FG' simulates the DC current of DC reactor against the inductance characteristic, where the patterns standardized at each rated value for both DC current and inductance are stored into the memory on a microcomputer. The proportional gain of the current controller ACR is taken out and changed over automatically from the memory in compliance with the actual value of the current.
