PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanging device without necessitating any partitioning plate or caulking by a method wherein a first flow path, formed by th flange of a heat transfer fin and neighboring heat transfer fins and air flows through the space formed by them, and a second flow path, in which air flows through a space formed by the heat transfer fin bent into substantially U-shape, are formed in the heat exchanging device. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer fin 12 is made by bending one sheet of a fin into substantially U-shape consisting of long sides 12a and a short side 12b while the long side 12a is provided with double-bent flanges 12c on the outside of the long side 12a. The ends of the heat transfer fins 12 are fitted into the neighboring cut grooves 14 of a sheet 13 to form a second flow path 11 or a space surrounded by the heat transfer fins 12 and the sheet 13. A first flow path 8 is formed by a space formed by neighboring heat transfer fins 12 and the flanges 12c. The sheet 13 is provided n the upper surface of the heat exchanging device and the ceiling plate of a control board 1 for a machine tool or the like is provided with the openings of a suction port 2 and a discharging port 3 while the heat transfer fins 12 are held so as to keep predetermined spaces by the flanges 12c and the cut grooves 14 of the sheet 13, therefore, caulking is not necessitated in the working process thereof.
