PURPOSE:To work an engine without needing fuel and discharging any exhaust gas, by providing a decompression cylinder which utilizes the energy of steam coming out of the cylinder of a main portion and simultaneously has the function of reducing pressure. CONSTITUTION:Air inside cylinders 1 is compressed and heated to high temperature, water drops injected thereinto are transformed to the steam of a critical state. A decompression cylinder 4 which utilizes the energy of steam coming out of the cylinders 1 and simultaneously has the function of reducing pressure is prepared. A condenser 5 in which the decompressed steam is condensed and returned to water, a water tank 6 which stores water for making the steam, and a pump 7 which injects the water into the cylinders 1 with high pressure are connected successively. Thus, an engine can work without needing fuel and discharging any exhaust gas.
