<p>The present invention relates to a bogie frame with three axles and to a method for manufacturing such a frame which comprises two longitudinal members and cross-pieces, two of which, called intermediate cross-pieces, are of the box-section type and solidly join the longitudinal members, the flanges of the longitudinal members being welded to the flanges of the cross-pieces. The frame is characterised by the fact that each of the longitudinal members 1 consists of a mechanically fixed box-section made of webs 11 of generally undulated shape, the flanges 12 being undulated so that they may be fitted and welded to the said webs by means of angle joints, the internal web 1 of each longitudinal member being joined to the webs 21 of each intermediate cross-piece by means of two curved connections 111. <IMAGE></p> |
