<p>1. A recording device for route log, capable of operating both when the vehicle is in operation and when the vehicle is stopped, the log including recording means (1) for obtaining a recording trace on a chart disk (2) driven in real time by a clock (3), together with control means (4) acting directly on the means for recording a trace in order to take account of different types of vehicle use, and multi-position guide means (5) co-operating with said recording means in such a manner as to obtain a trace whose thickness corresponds to each of said positions, the said route log further comprising a housing in which the said recording means, the said control means, and the said guide means are housed, together with a cover which is hinged to the said housing and which supports the clock and the chart disk, characterized in that the control means (4) directly engage the drive motor of the clock (3), and in that the cover therefor includes a motion pickup which is drivingly connected to the clock drive motor, said motion pickup projecting towards the housing in such a manner as to co-operate with the control means when the hinged cover is closed.</p> |
