PURPOSE:To obtain a rotary compressor which does not suffer from corrosion and damage even if a refrigerant of R13B1 (CBrF3) is used by forming a ceramic film on the surface of a rotor of said rotary compressor for compressing a mixed refrigerant including said R13B1. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned rotary compressor, a rotor 4 driven by a crank shaft 3 is housed in a cylinder 5 while a vane 7 which is elastically in contact with the rotor 4 is provided on the cylinder 5. Since a ceramic film 16 is formed on the outer peripheral face of the rotor 4, even if a refrigerant of R13B1 (CBrF3), etc. which is decomposed due to rise in temp. generating a hydrogen bromide is used, corrosion and damage due to the hydrogen bromide will not occur, fully making the most of advantages of using the refrigerant of R13B1. |
