摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to take out the effect of Coriolis force with good sensitivity, by applying vibration input to a free end capable of sufficiently taking displacement in a bent pipe vibration system and detecting the Coriolis force relating to the flow amount of a liquid by a pressure response type sensor. CONSTITUTION:Two ring shaped bent pipes 14, 15 are parallelly provided to both sides of an apparatus main body 1 and the fixing connection parts 16 provided to both ends of the bent pipes 14, 15 are connected to the connection part 13 of the main body 16 so as to approach each other. The opposite side of the connection part 16 is a free end 17 constituted of a freely movable structure. An inflow port part 22 and an outflow port part 23 are respectively connected to the main body 11 so as to be respectively communicated with the connection part 16 and an electromagnetic drive mechanism 30 is provided to the main body 11. A piezoelectric element 45 as a pressure responsive sensor is held in the vicinity of the connection part 16 in a state grasped under pressure. A current is supplied to the mechanism 30 to apply vibration input to the free end 17 so that said free end 17 repeats opening and closing motion and, when a fluid flows through the bent pipes 14, 15, twist phenomena in left and right opposite directions are generated in the bents pipes 14, 15 by Coriolis force generated in relation to the flow amount of said fluid. The flow amount of the fluid is measured from said phenomena by the piezoelectric element 45.
