PURPOSE:To check high speed running by leaving a throttle valve open wherein the valve is provided to a passage bypassing a space between the downstream side of a supercharger cylinder and a suction pipe in the upstream side. CONSTITUTION:A mixture from a carburetor 6 is fed to No.2 cylinder 3 through a throttle valve 10 at high load running for feeding thereof to No.1 and No.3 cylinders 2 and 4 from a suction passage 8b passing through suction passages 8a and 8c. An actuator 15 is rendered effective upon exceeding of supercharging pressure over a set value for opening a throttle valve 14 so as to restrain an increase in supercharging pressure through a bypass valve 13. When a car speed is equal to or higher than a specified value set in advance, a car speed switch 20 outputs an ON signal for increasing supercharging pressure to the actuator 15 with a solenoid valve closed so as to further open the throttle valve 14. Besides, the solenoid valve 16 is normally kept open but its passage area is small.
