摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display element having a good display grade by coating a resin of a thermosetting type to an injection port and heating the resin at the temp. lower than a preheating temp. to cure the resin. CONSTITUTION:A cell is constituted by superposing two sheets of glass substrates subjected to deposition of transparent electrodes and orientation treatment after interposing a gap controlling material and sealant therebetween and heating the substrates to cure the sealant. The liquid crystal is thereafter injected through the injection port into the cell by the vacuum sealing method or the like. The cell is preheated at the temp. higher than the room temp. after the injection. The heating temp. is preferably 50-80 deg.C and a heating furnace or IR lamp or the like is used for heating. An adhesive agent curable by heating such as epoxy resin is coated to the injection port and is heated to the temp. higher than the room temp. or lower than the above-mentioned preheating temp., for example, 30-60 deg.C to cure the adhesive agent, by which the injection port is sealed. The resin is cured for 0.5-2hr.
