PURPOSE:To eliminate difficult regulating works and permit to control the operation of an air-conditioning machine surely by only simple operations even when a plurality of air- conditioning machines is arranged in one room by a method wherein a receiving unit, provided in each air-conditioning machine, is provided with a selective decision means, which receives selectively an operation signal switched by the switching means of a transmitting unit. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting unit 6 is constituted of an outputting section, outputting a plurality of different kinds of operation signals, and a switching means, selecting the operation signals outputted from the outputting section. Further, a plurality of air-conditioning machines is provided respectively with receiving units 5, receiving the operation signals from said transmitting unit 6, while the receiving units 5 are provided with selective decision means, receiving selectively the operation signals which are switched by said switching means. In the control unit 1 of the air-conditioning machine, for example, the kind of the air-conditioning machine, which is outputted from a wireless remote controller 6 together with operational contents for the operation and control of the air-conditioning machine, is compared with the kind of the air-conditioning machine, which is set by respective contacts 4S1-4S4 in a kind of machine selecting code switch 4 and when these coincide, the operation of the air-conditioning machine may be controlled in accordance with the operational contents which are received by the control unit 1.
