PURPOSE:To discharge only molten pig, by injecting prescribed gas always with a fixed injection angle from gas injection nozzle to molten bath level in torpedo ladle to prevent effluence of slag. CONSTITUTION:A slag stopper 10 for torpedo ladle is hung to a crane 14 through a hanging tool 13, induced and set while bestriding a molten pig discharging hole 12 on the torpedo ladle 11. Next, if pressurized gas is supplied through a gas hose 7 for supplying pressurized gas, the gas is injected from a nozzle 1 and blasted to inner part of the torpedo ladle 11. Under the state, the ladle 11 is gradually turned to discharge molten pig in the ladle 11 from the hole 12. At this time, since a header 3 is moved together with the ladle 11, the gas injection angle theta from the nozzle 1 is always maintained to a fixed value to molten bath level in the ladle 11. High pressure gas injected from the nozzle 1 efficiently pushes the slag 16 into the car 11. |
