PURPOSE:To collect charging data to a subscriber by one line of a telephone line of a center side by making a calling of an automatic dialer connected to a terminal equipment a time when a polling is applied to the terminal equipment from the center side and a terminal is designated. CONSTITUTION:The data for collecting the charging data is fed to a certain terminal equipment from the center. This data is fed to a microprocessor 6 through a branch device 2 and demodulator 5. When the microprocessor 6 receives this data, it calls for the charging data stored in a memory 7, makes access to the automatic dialer 16 from an output port 8, and the automatic dialer 16 calls a CATV center through the telephone line 17. In the telephone line 17, the CATV center and the terminal equipment are brought into an on-line state, the microprocessor 6 transmits the charging data to the automatic dialer 16 through the output port 8 and the automatic dialer 16 modulates this charging data and thereafter feeds to the CATV center through the telephone line 17.
