PURPOSE:To increase the speed in the input/output of a picture without using a high speed processing circuit and a buffer memory by providing a clock generation circuit for an image sensor driving, the operation of the processing circuit, and the write of the buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:An image sensor 1 is driven with the first clock 8 (frequency f1) outputted from a clock generation circuit 4, and a picture signal 5 from the image sensor is processed with a processing circuit 2. The processing circuit 2 is driven with the second clock outputted from the clock generation circuit 4. The output 6 of the processing circuit 2 is written on a buffer memory 3 with the second clock. A picture data 7 read out from the buffer memory with the third clock outputted from an oscillation circuit 10 is printed out at a printer 12. The frequency of the third clock is fixed at (f). In a magnifying time, assuming f2=f0 and f1<f0, a magnification regulated with a magnification ratio R=f0/f1 is performed. In a reducing time, assuming f1=f0 and f2<f0, a reduction regulated with the magnification ratio R=f2/f0 is performed.
