PURPOSE:To shorten the time necessary for drying a mold and a product by decreasing the amount of cooling water injected on the horizontal wall of the upper mold. CONSTITUTION:A molding space 4 is filled with the beads for molding, and a product is molded in a mold by heating it, sending steam into steam chambers 5, 10. Then, the molding space 4 is cooled, injecting cooling water from injection nozzles 6, 7, 11. Next, the pressure in the steam chambers 5, 10 is reduced, thereby evaporating the cooling water and drying the mold. Here, if the amount of the cooling water per unit time and unit area to a horizontal wall from at least the nozzle 6 is kept decreased, the residual of the cooling water on the upper surface of the horizontal wall and the adhering of the cooling water from a slit 16 to the molded product are eliminated, and its productivity is improved.
