PURPOSE:To easily shape a coil end after the coil is inserted, by transferring a coil to an inserter without changing the original shape of the coil which is formed on a bobbin by using a transfer tool having a finger. CONSTITUTION:A wire W driven out by a revolving flyer 16 is taken up onto a bobbin 15, and a coil C is wound down as shown by the chained line between the guides 3 and 3A arranged on the both sides and the side wall 11A of a transfer tool 20 installed onto the bobbin 15, forming the coil C. When the coil C in a prescribed number of windings fills the transfer tool 20, the operation of the flyer 16 is suspended, and the coil C is removed from the bobbin 15 by holding the grip part of the transfer tool 20, and then the coil C passes through the front edge of a finger 2 as shown by the chained line, and is wound into nearly square form. Therefore, the coil C can be transferred onto an insert er having blades, etc., keeping the original winding shape of the bobbin 15.
