<p>PURPOSE:To perform separating and opening operation at a time and to improve safety by moving back at least one of image forming means from its normal position associatively with the separating operation of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charging electrode 2, light source 3, lens array 4, developing device 5, transfer electrode 6, separating rolls 7 and 7', cleaning device 8, etc., are arranged at the circumference of a photosensitive drum 1, and an upper unit 13 and a lower unit 14 are separated and opened about a from conveyance path in case of jam processing, etc. Once the main frame is opened, a support lever 16 is supporting a fuser roll 10 and a projection are released from abutting on each other, so the fuser roll 10 drawn into a fixation cover 12 through the operation of a tension spring 18 to move off the conveyance path. Consequently, an operator which handles a jam is prevented from touching the fuser roll 10 in a high temperature state by the hand.</p> |
