PURPOSE:To eliminate the degrading of detection capability due to the blind band of an analog/digital converter by superposing an offset signal on an original triangular pulse signal then inputting the resulting signal, and comparing an output result with the original triangular pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:In case an offset interpolating part 8 relays the original triangular pulse signal sw to the analog/digital converter 2 without interpolating the offset signal (f) on the signal sw, a triangular pulse signal dw' generated in the comparing part 3 at points of time t1, t2, and t3 does not coincide with the signal sw because of the influence of the blind band of the converter 2. Therefore, by interpolating the offset signal (f) whose level exceeds the peak value of the signal sw, the said influence of the blind band is removed. A comparison responding part 9 compares the signal dw' with the signal sw to set such an offset signal (f) as eliminating the influence of the blind band.
