PURPOSE:To prevent a sly viewing and tapping of a chargeable program even in case a terminal inherent address is used on the sly by using a random number data generated at each terminal as an auxiliary address for the terminal inherent address. CONSTITUTION:From a subscriber's terminal 200 to the station 100, the said terminal 200's inherent address generated by an address generator 220 along with its inherent random number generated by a random-number generator 230 are transmitted. The station 100 returns the received address and random number to the terminal 200. In the terminal 200, a random-number comparing part 290 compares the transmitted random-number data and the returned random-number data, while an address comparing part 300 compares the transmitted address and the returned address with each other. If the said addresses and the random numbers coincide with each other, a data processing circuit 310 permits the viewing of the chargeable program on the terminal. Therefore, even if the terminal address is illegally used on the terminal, the sly-viewing and tapping of the chargeable program can be prevented because the random numbers do not coincide with each other. |
