A suitcase 11 consists of two shells 12 and 13 which are hinged together along their back wall 19. The suitcase is closed by means of three locks. One lock 26 is operated by key and is located at the centre of the front wall 18. The two other locks 24 and 25 are located at the fronts of the end walls of the suitcase and prevent the case from gaping open when overfilled. The locks 24 and 25 have catches. <IMAGE>
