<p>In an audio tape apparatus with reverse operation, in order to ensure that the fast-running buttons are always assigned the same function irrespective of the respective tape-running direction which can be set by a reverse slide, a switching cross which has two switching arms and is rotatably mounted at its crossing point is provided. Actuating the fast-running buttons induces a turning of the switching cross, which is transferred to a control slide for a switching gear mechanism. The control slide is connected by means of a follower to the one horizontal switching arm of the switching cross, the switching arm serving as a guide for the follower, which can be moved by the reverse slide along the switching arm. Consequently, in dependence on the two switching positions of the reverse slide, the control slide executes opposite control movements in response to the same turning movement of the switching cross, whereby the functionally correct assignment of the fast-running buttons is accomplished.</p> |
