PURPOSE:To enable paper not to be creased during plate making by feeding the tip of paper to a rear end at high speed under such a condition that paper is wound around a platen roller. CONSTITUTION:Right before the passage of the tip of a thermosensitive part which is continuous to the ear of paper through a thermal printing head 7, the thermal printing head 7 and the second guide roller 6 are set to a stand-by position and then are separated from a platen roller 4. At the same time, the ear of paper is inserted between a feeder roller 8 and a paper feeder ring 1 and is fed in more feed amount than that of the thermosensitive part of paper which is fed by the first guide roller 5 and the platen roller 4. Consequently, paper is spread as it is wound around the external circumferential surface of the platen roller 4. Thus the creasing of paper by thermal contraction during printing can be prevented contributing to precise printing. |
