PURPOSE:To impart excellent raw preservability, quick thermal response and high thermal color forming property and to reduce the lowering in the density of a recorded image due to long-term preservation after thermal recording, by incorporating at least one aromatic ether or ester in a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:As aromatic ether or ester, there is a compound represented by formula 1. Among heat-meltable substances represented by the formula 1, ones represented by formulae 1-a-1-c are pref. A diazo compound is a diazonium salt represented by general formula ArN2<+>X<-> (wherein Ar is an aromatic part, N2<+> is a diazonium group and X is an acid anion) and generates the coupling reaction with a coupling component to be capable of forming a color and can be decomposed by light. |
