PURPOSE:To provide a material to be recorded excellent in ink absorbability and light perviousness and further having an ink receiving layer of which the surface is hardly stained with a fingerprint, by applying oils and fats with an iodine value of 50 or more to the surface of the ink receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A material to be recorded is formed by providing an ink receiving layer, an ink holding layer and an ink pervious layer on a base material and adhering oils and fats with an iodine value of 50 or more to the surface of the ink receiving layer. The ink receiving layer is mainly formed of a hydrophilic polymer capable of receiving aqueous ink. By forming the ink pervious layer, which has function allowing ink to freely transmit and capable of protecting the surface of the ink receiving layer, to the surface of said ink receiving layer in order to prevent surface stickiness under high humidity, the further excellent material to be recorded is obtained. The ink pervious layer is obtained by forming a membrane with a thickness of about 10mum or less from a polymer having a hydrophilic property almost equal or relatively inferior to that of the polymer material forming the ink receiving layer. By applying a fine org. or inorg. powder to the recording surface in a ratio of about 0.01-1.0g/m<2>, fingerprint resistance is further enhanced. Oils and fats with the iodine value of 50 of more are applied to the surface of the ink receiving layer so as not to separate the powder from said surface. |
