PURPOSE:To change the conversion condition by providing a selection means selecting a digit constituting an output signal from plural digits of input signal optionally and a means discriminating the presence of the polarity and saturation from all or part of digits of the input signal and outputting the result. CONSTITUTION:A data conversion circuit is constituted that output signal (o) is varied in 8-12 with respect to a 16-bit of input signal (i). Then a switch matrix 25 as the 1st selection means, a selector control section 22a as a discrimination means and a selector control section 21a as the 2nd selection means are provided. A maximum 11-bit is selected from the 0th-14th bits of the input signal (i) by designation d1 and the result is sent to the selector section 21a. The selector control section 22a selects only the 14-th bit only or the 14th-8th bits as the object of discrimination by designation d2, the saturation of the polarity is discriminated and the result is inputted to terminals S1, S0 of the selector section 21a.
