PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of counting recording sheets for each photographing, by detecting the remaining number of recording sheets on account of the movement of an absorbing section in association with a sheet reference position detector and a sheet absorption detector. CONSTITUTION:A film absorption detector for detecting a film which is absorbed by an absorption cup 24 is provided in an absorption cylinder 41 which is laterally moved by a laterally moving holder 45. A vertically driving motor 47 for rectilinearly moving an absorption holder 40 in the vertical direction along guide rods 46A, 46B, is attached to the side section of the holder 45, and a vertically moving position encoder 49 is fitted on the output shaft of the motor 47. This encoder 49 severs as a converter for converting the movement of the absorption cup 24 into the number of films. Further, a film reference position detector for detecting the absorption cup 24 which is set at a predetermined reference position in a film supply magazine, is attached to the side section of the laterally movable holder 45. With this arrangement, the movement from the reference position to the absorbing position may be exhibited by the number of films, it is possible to know the remaining amount of films in the magazine with the use of a simple circuit.
