PURPOSE:To carry out the disposal for jam in simple ways by shifting the rotary shaft of a transfer roller, accompanied with the operation of a working member on the basis of the turn of a sheet folder, and by separating a pair of press-contact rollers. CONSTITUTION:When the jamming of a sheet is generated, a lock arm is demounted, and a folder 1 is turned for a finisher 7, and then the right and left connecting arms 3 and 5 operate to open, and a cam 27 at the top edge of the right arm 5 pushes down a spacer pulley 13. Accompanied by this opera tion, a folding roller 12 turns around a pressing sensor 22, and shifts in the direction of arrow Y. Therefore, a pair of folding rollers 11 and 12 and a pair of folding rollers 12 and 15 are separated from each other.
