PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive sheet having excellent heat resistance, adhesiveness, and storage stability, by mixing an epoxy resin and a specified phenolic compound, and forming the mixture into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A composition is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. epoxy resin (a) (e.g., a bisphenol A epoxy resin) having an epoxy equivalent of 100-2,500g/ equivalent, preferably 110-500g/equivalent at least one phenolic compound (b) selected from monocyclid dihydric phenols and bicyclic dihydric phenols (e.g., tetrabromobisphenol A) in an amount necessary to provide 0.7-1.2 phenolic hydroxyl groups per epoxy group of component (a); and if necessary, a polybutadiene or butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer having terminal carboxyl or amino groups (c) in an amount of 800pts.wt. or less to provide the total of the phenolic hydroxyl groups of component (b) and the carboxyl or amino groups of component (c) of 0.7-1.2 per epoxy group of component (a). This composition is melted by heating and melt-extruded to form a sheet.
