发明名称 WIRE ROD FOR STEEL CORD EXCELLENT IN PHOSPHATE CHEMICAL CONVERSION TREATMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a wire rod for steel cords capable of preventing adhesive nonuniformity of phosphate crystal films and excellent in phosphate chemical conversion treatment, by providing a composition in which each content of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cu, and Al is specified and the balance consists of Fe with inevitable impurities. CONSTITUTION:The above wire rod for steel cords has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.60-1.00% C, 0.05-0.50% Si, 0.20-0.90% Mn, <0.040% P, <0.04% S, 0.03-0.50% Cu, <0.002% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. Further, the results of experiments in the relations between Cu content and bonderizing adhesion carried out by the use of steels having components and component percentages tabulated in Table 1 are shown in the accompanying figure. As is shown in this accompanying figure, No.3 and No.4 in Table 1 where Cu content is in the range of 0.03-0.50wt%, that is, Cu content of above- mentioned wire rod of this invention, exceed the passing mark of bonderizing adhesion score. That is to say, excellent phosphate conversion treating property free from nonuniformity of phosphate crystal film can be provided by specifying Cu content.
