PURPOSE:To scrape down dust adhered to rake plates from both front and back sides of the rake plate by a method in which a wiper is moved not only to one way but also to the back side of the rake plate during the period when a support shaft fixed with the wiper is moved one time in a rocking manner. CONSTITUTION:A wiper 5 is attached to a wiper arm 5c movable back and forth on a support shaft 6 as a supporting fulcrum of the fixed portion. The wiper 5 is moved in a sliding manner while pressing it on a rake plate 3a as a rake 3 goes forward to scrape down dust adhered to the rake plate 3a. In this case, the dust adhered is scraped down to the front side of the rake plate 3a by sliding the front edge 5a of the wiper 5 toward the front claw of the rake 3, and then the back edge 5b of the wiper 5 is moved in a sliding manner toward the back direction from a time when it passes through the rocking lower dead point of the rake arm to scrape dust down. Dust adhered to the rake plate can thus be smoothly discharged without leaving dust unscraped on the back side of the rake plate 3a.
