Disclosed are compounds of the formula I wherein: R1 and R2 may be either the same or different and each is hydrogen or lower alkyl; and wherein R3 and R4 may be either the same or different and each is hydrogen, halogen, or lower alkyl, with the proviso that R3 and R4 cannot both be hydrogen. These compounds are useful as anticonvulsant or anxiolytic agents.
