PURPOSE:To efficiently store data which has the same value by storing the location where the data with the same value is stored when the data having the same value with data to be stored is already stored and deleting the storage location when the data is deleted. CONSTITUTION:A memory block consists of a part 41 for storing data and a slot 42 for storing the storage location of the data. When updating the data, a CPU (not shown in figure) checks whether the same value with the data to be stored is already present or not to store the data when not and stores its storage location in the corresponding slot. When there is the same value present, the storage location present in the corresponding slot is stored. When data is deleted, it is checked whether plural locations where the data is stored are stored in a slot or not to delete the contents of the slot corresponding to the data when there is only one location or inhibit the data from being deleted when there are plural locations.
