PURPOSE:To prevent formation of irregular part on an inner surface of a feeder head case for ingot making after assembling of the case and to prevent generation of surface defects and dropping of production yield after casting by assembling the case under condition of confronting reciprocally partial of casting space side in right and left side end faces of boards for the feeder head case. CONSTITUTION:The feeder head case 1 for ingot making is assembled by confronting reciprocally partial of casting space side in right and left side end faces of boards 2a-2d divided for the feeder head case and confronting end faces 21a, 22a, 21b, 22b, 21c, 22c, 21d, 22d are formed. Further, the remaining faces 23a, 24a, 23b, 24b, 23c, 24c, 23d, 24d are formed as fitting faces for corner pieces and a flange part 25a-25d is formed respectively at each upper end face of the board 2a-2d for the feeder head case. Then, the feeder head case is formed along an inner surface of the upper part of the mold by fitting each corner piece 4a-4d between the fitting face 23a, 24a, 23b, 24b, 23c, 24c, 23d, 24d, for the corner piece at which is not confronted in the board 2a-2d for the feeder head case, and a corner part of the mold for ingot making, respectively.
